Dr. Dave has been a counselor for 32+ years. Initially, he worked
as a vocational counselor and evaluator throughout the United
States. His
journeys have taken him from Wisconsin to Tennessee, Hawaii,
Minnesota, and Florida.
Dr. Dave obtained
a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science
Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin
- Stout. He received a Doctor of Education Degree in Counseling
Psychology from Argosy University - Sarasota, Florida. His dissertation
studied the coping resources of injured collegiate and older
male athletes.
Dr. Dave has
been in private practice in Florida since 1991. He has gained
a positive reputation as a vocational expert testifying in the
venues of Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice,
Divorce and Social Security Disability. He also has worked
with various employers in developing return to work programs for
injured employees and doing ergonomic job design.
Recently, Dr.
Dave obtained certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. He
specializes in helping individuals reduce stress, stop smoking
and release weight. He also assists athletes and professionals
to enhance their performance on the playing field and in the
workplace. He is also a Reiki Master, practioner and teacher.
Dr. Dave is
presently a competitive track bicycle racer. He frequently
travels to Ft. Lauderdale to the Brian Piccolo Park to race on
the only velodrome in Florida. He has won 16 State Championships
and 1 Regional Championship. In 1994, 1996, and 1998 he
was ranked in the top 10 in the world for his age group. Throughout
his life he participated in football, basketball, track & field,
distance running, tennis, soccer and golf.
Dr. Dave's
goal is to help individuals to become healthy in body, mind and
spirit. He thrives on helping people reduce stress, stop
smoking and lose weight to gain better health and to reduce healthcare
costs. He also has a goal of assisting people to identify
and pursue fulfilling careers and athletes and professionals
to perform at and beyond their potential.
